As my children grow up, I am more interested in this type of content. I believe that faith should not be at odds with reason and we must always be ready to answer your questions. This is a short and simple book with a very important message. I recommend this kind of book to parents whose children are not very into reading, the ideas are surrounded by a lot of examples and personal stories and everything is simplified so anyone will understand it. Do not expect very scientific facts or very deep thoughts explained, but it will be an excellent tool if you are seeking help to start sharing ideas about the effects of screens in your teen life this can be helpful for you. If you have read a lot about this topic, you won't find a lot of new information, but I can say I enjoyed a lot the idea of a dad and daughter writing together for a good purpose. I´m always telling my children that once it is on the cloud you can´t delete it... this topic is included. I really like the topic of dealing with conflict in person, not texts, videos, or chats, to give the importance the relationship deserves. You can give it as a present, useful tips.

Sometimes even as adults, we don´t even get how we feel, or we know how but it is hard to verbalize... imagine being a teenager. We need to be aware all the time about what they are dealing with, how to stay close, and develop great communication. Every resource who tries to be a tool to engage with them and lead them to the truth I cherish. (MIB). I read very harsh reviews about this book, mainly from nonbelievers, I wonder why they bother to read something they already know they won´t like. It is amazing to me read books written by teenagers for teenagers. May this young and wise voice continue to lift others eyes to Jesus. Even if you are not a teen or if you don´t have teens you will enjoy this book. It remind me don´t waste your life and also the Rebelution content. It is convicting, sincere and challenging. If you hate riots you will love this one. I can´t wait my little girl to grow up, 2 more years to gift it to her. "We think we're seeking hard and coming up empty, but in reality, we're hardly seeking." I ask myself: Am I seeking?. "We can't fall back on God's Word only when we need it or we'll be clumsy and unfamiliar with our spiritual sword". I ask myself am I using the sword enough? "As we focus on Christ, we're taking hold of the weapons He has provided. Praise is one of the most beautiful ways to fix our eyes on God, and it's also one of the most powerful weapons against Satan!" "to start a riot against our own apathy." Ouch. Our own apathy.

Girls are complex beautiful creatures, more when they are teens. I really like resources for girls, because I have one. I enjoyed the simpleness and truth shared in this book. It gives perspective and wisdom you young girls. I quote this part that I loved:

As you grow, you will be tempted to grow weary to lose sight of the goal of godliness and to wonder if God is really at work in your life at all (...) where you find death, pray for new life.
