Este libro se publicó el 12 de Septiembre, es decir que está muy fresco!
Mi familia ya era creyente cuando yo nací, quiere decir que tengo toda mi existencia conociendo de la iglesia (desde el vientre). Sin embargo creo que no es suficiente con la experiencia personal que he tenido, mucho menos limitarme a mi ciudad, estado o país, sino que es necesario comprender la historia de la iglesia a nivel universal y este libro contiene siglos de historia. No me imagino haciendo un trabajo tan exhaustivo sobre historia, entonces valoro mucho este tipo de contenidos que invirtieron tanto en hacerlo. Me sorprendió mucho todos los "halagos" a este trabajo. Considero que es útil para cualquier pastor, maestro o estudiante del ministerio y la Palabra. Abarca desde el siglo 1 al 20.
Cualquiera que se interese por estos temas historicos disfrutará de este libro, además que Ferguson es un favorito. Necesito más tiempo para leerlo y estudiarlo. En lo personal quería mucho saber más sobre el oscurantismo, los puritanos, las revoluciones y avivamientos (capítulos 10, 17 y 18).
Aprender sobre lo que nos precede nos hace valorar donde estamos en el presente y tener esperanza para el futuro. Dios nos ayude hasta el final, a aprender de los errores, a
arrepentirnos por los desaciertos y a comprometernos con la verdad.

My family was already a believer when I was born, it means that I have all my existence knowing about the church (listening from the womb). However, I think that it is not enough to have the personal experience I have had, much less to limit myself to my city, state or country, but it is necessary to understand the history of the church at a universal level and this book contains centuries of history.
I can not imagine doing such an exhaustive work on history, so I value a lot this type of content that they invested so much in doing it. I was very surprised by all the "compliments" to this work. I consider it useful for any pastor, teacher or student of the ministry and the Word. It covers from the 1st to the 20th century.
Anyone who is interested in these historical issues will enjoy this book, and Ferguson is a favorite. I need more time to read it and study it. Personally, I wanted to know more about obscurantism, the Puritans, revolutions and revivals (chapters 10, 17 and 18).
Learning about what precedes us makes us value where we are in the present and have hope for the future. God help us to the end, to learn from mistakes, to
repent for mistakes and commit to the truth.
